
Our Curriculum
At Ember Academy, we offer a comprehensive curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of our unique student population. Our evidence-based practices ensure that students receive the highest quality education and care, and are supported in achieving academic, social, emotional, and physical success.
We offer a range of courses that cover all core subjects, including language arts, math, science, and social studies, as well as specialty courses like art, music, and more!
Ember Academy offers a program of instruction sufficient to allow students who maintain regular attendance to meet the minimum compulsory attendance requirements in State Board of Education Rule 6A-1.09512, Florida Administrative Code, of at least:

170 actual school days (Ember offers education 240 days per year)

Language Arts
Our Language Arts program is designed to help students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills. Through a variety of engaging activities, students learn to analyze literature, write effectively, and express themselves with confidence.

Science
Our Science program emphasizes hands-on learning and inquiry-based instruction. Students explore a wide range of scientific topics, from the natural world to the latest technological advances. Through experiments, research projects, and other activities, students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Mathematics
Our Mathematics program is designed to help students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and skills. Students build a strong foundation in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics, and learn to apply mathematical reasoning to real-world problems.

Social Studies
Our Social Studies program covers a wide range of topics, from history and geography to civics and economics. Through a variety of engaging activities, students learn about different cultures, societies, and historical events, and develop a sense of global awareness.

Physical Education
Our Physical Education program promotes fitness, health, and wellness. Through a variety of activities, students develop physical skills and fitness, as well as teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills.

Specialty Courses
In addition to our core curriculum, we offer a range of specialty courses to help students explore their interests and develop new skills. These courses include art, music, foreign languages, culinary classes, theatre, and more.
